Loaves & Fishes
Come out to help cook and serve a free meal to 150-200 individuals and families at the River of Life Lutheran Church. Help is needed to cook the meal from 3:00 to 5:00pm and serve the meal from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Any time you can come help during those hours is great! For more information or to sign up contact Shannon.
Worship Team Tryouts
On Saturday, March 13 from noon-3:00pm, we are having auditions for musicians and singers who are interested in serving on the worship team. We are currently in need of guitarists (acoustic & electric) and drummers. However, all musicians are encouraged to try out. Please have the application form filled out and turned in before March 13. You can find a copy of the application form at the Hub. Also be sure to sign up for a slot time on the audition day sign-up sheet (found in the Café at church). Gifts Class
The next class will take place Sunday, March 14 at 12:00pm. The Gifts Class will help you discover your spiritual giftings and abilities and use them to honor God and serve others. A required element of the teaching is completing an assessment from the book "The Three Colors of Ministry" before the class. It's available at the church for $10. Contact the office with any questions. Lunch and childcare are provided with RSVP.
Newcomer Lunch
If you're new around Mercy Vineyard, we'd love to meet you! Join us for our next Newcomer lunch during the 12noon service on Sunday, March 14. There will be a short video about the Vineyard, and then we'll take some time to meet each other and talk about the history and vision of Mercy. Lunch and childcare provided with RSVP.
Songwriters’ Gathering
Are you writing songs or interested in starting? Come join us as we talk through, share and give feedback on each others song ideas. We’ll meet from 1:30-3:30pm on Sunday, March 14. Lunch is provided free. Contact Grant Adams, graadams@gmail.com.

Small Group Leader Training
Do you want to be better at leading your small group? Are you thinking of starting a one? Come to our Small Group Leader Training where you can learn great ways to lead, run and improve your group. At this training we help you plan out the first few weeks of your group. Leaders of all experience are welcome! This event is happening @MercyThursdays, March 11 & 18.
Sunday Gathering: Age 35+
We’d love to welcome anyone age 35 and up to an informal gathering on Sunday, March 21 during the noon service. This will be an opportunity for people to get to know each other and discuss the joys and challenges of attending a church primarily made up of 20-somethings. Lunch and childcare provided.
Sunday Gathering: Dating and Engaged Couples
Romantic relationships! Aren’t they the best (and in some moments the worst)? During dating and engagement a lot of questions can arise and it can be nice to talk to others navigating the same stretch of road. Team World Vision
Are you a runner? Never been a runner? Do you want to make a measurable impact against poverty? Then come join the Mercy Vineyard World Vision running team! We’ll be training together to run a 1/2 marathon in August to raise money to drill wells in Africa. Info session March 28 during the noon service. Contact Erin Roff for more info.
Thrive Youth Group
Thrive is a weekly Thursday night youth group (middle school and high schoolers) meeting together to share their faith and lives with each other. We'll have small groups, time for prayer, and time to just hang out. All are welcome for dinner at 5:30, and group will go from 6:30-8:00. Come ask questions, get to know who God is and what He wants for your life, and connect with other people your age.
Race: The Power of an Illusion
Join us during @MercyThursdays March 25, April 1 & 8 for a three-week class that takes an in-depth look at race and what it means in America. Marriage Preparation Course
If you are interested in pre-marital counseling we will be running the 10-week Marriage Preparation Course from 6:30-9:00 starting April 15 @MercyThursdays. Art-a-Whirl: Artists, Musicians, Organizers Wanted
MVC is looking for people to participate in this annual Northeast art event. We'll need art to fill our space, music to fill the air, food to fill bellies, and volunteers to welcome people and keep everything moving smoothly. Prayer Meetings

Manna for Minneapolis
We are loving those experiencing homelessness in our city by bringing sandwiches and listening ears. Come with us to the Salvation Army Harbor Lights center every other Thursday. Meet at Mercy at 7:00pm. For details contact Abbey or Nick at mannaforthecity@gmail.com.
