Volunteer at Mercy
Want to pitch in? Many people have found that helping out around the church is one of the best ways to form life-changing relationships. We have opportunities that range from very low to very high commitment. If you would like contact someone about specific opportunities, click on a link below. Volunteer Orientation
Attend a Volunteer Orientation to hear what it means to us for you to volunteer at Mercy, tips on how to make the most of it, answers to frequently asked questions, and meet coordinators of the different areas of serving in the church to find out how to get started. Volunteer Orientations are on Sundays during the 12pm service on March 4, April 1, May 20, and July 29. Contact volunteer@mercyvineyard.org to sign up.

Other Opportunitites
Bless Minneapolis
Every Thursday night in February, we’ll be going out into the city to bless any people that we come across. Each week will look different, but each night will be both practical, like giving out blankets to homeless people, and might require some faith as we pray for healing, and even ask God to speak to us to give encouragement for people. Basically leaning into the things that Jesus did! Show up to any @MercyThursday in February or contact Dano Sauter.
Multicultural Cohort Meeting Hosting
Mercy Vineyard host a local multicultural cohort on Thursday, March 15, from 9am to 12:00pm with lunch served at 11:30am. We’d love to bless these 50-some area pastors and could use some folks to setup, greet them, help them navigate our space, and prepare a home-cooked meal for them. Contact Le Que Heidkamp if you’d like to serve.
Society of Vineyard Scholars Conference Hosting
Mercy Vineyard is hosting a three day conference for Vineyard scholars from all over the United States from Thursday afternoon, April 26, through Saturday morning, April 28, and our planning team could use a ton of volunteers who would be available to help. Here are all the ways you could be involved, either as a coordinator of this area to help plan for the event or serving in these areas during the event. Contact volunteer@mercyvineyard.org if you’d like to help in any of the followings ways: Registration Team, Concierge/Greeting Team, Hospitality and Food Teams, Shopping Team, Projector Team, Van Driving Team, Host Home.
Earth Day
On Saturday, April 21st and all through out the week of Earth Day, we’ll be running events all designed to help clean up our beautiful Twin Cities, and to raise awareness for how we can live healthier environmental lives. This will include helping the city of St. Paul plan a community garden, cleaning up the river district, and clearing the street trash around NE Minneapolis. Stay tuned to the announcements as Spring gets closer, or contact Dano Sauter.
Mentoring at Edison High School
We have created a partnership with our neighbors at Edison and are looking for eager, committed, capable volunteers to help students and students athletes with their studies. We want to build up the youth in this community any way we can, and helping them graduate strong is an amazing opportunity that we want to take full advantage of. One hour sessions, twice a week for the rest of the school year can go a long way. If interested, contact Dano Sauter.
